When will we be able to travel again? There’s no definite answer to this question, but experts predict that travel bans and restrictions will start to loosen at the beginning of July. So if you have already booked a trip before July it will be better to postpone it, instead of cancelling. Of course, as soon as the travelling conditions are safe enough, people will continue with their regular activities.
The Balkans are located in Eastern Europe, and it comprises of 10 countries: 6 countries of former Yugoslavia - Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia; plus Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece. Some maps also include Turkey, since geographically, a small part belongs to this region. Compared to other European regions, especially Western Europe, Balkans are one of the cheapest places to travel in all of Europe.

Virpazar is a small fisherman village located between at the shores of Skadar Lake, close to the Capital Podgorica, but belonging to the municipality of Bar. Virpazar (at that time known as Vir) was first mentioned in 1242 in the charter of King Vladislav. Because of its important trading role that this small place had, the word 'Pazar' meaning the market has been added to its name Vir, keeping the name Virpazar (Vir-marketplace) up to these days.
The town of Žabljak is located in the northwest of Montenegro, in the heart of Durmitor area. It is the largest municipality in this area and is the highest urban settlement in the Balkans at an altitude of 1450 meters above sea level.
