Start your tour in Virpazar, a fishing village about a 30-minute drive from Podgorica. After voucher verification and receiving your boat ticket from the Kingfisher team, board a traditional wooden boat to explore Lake Skadar.
Sail past Vranjina’s two distinctive peaks through narrow river canals. See Lesendro, known as the Key of Lake Skadar, an ancient fortress ruin frequented by birds. Visit three islands covered in thousands of water lilies before arriving at Kom Monastery, perched on Odrin Hill and accessible only by boat.
Spend 30 minutes inside Kom Monastery, notable for some of the region’s best-preserved frescoes and surrounded by wild thyme scents. Conclude with a brief swim in the clear waters of Lake Skadar before your return journey through pristine nature.
