Make the most of your day in Kotor and spend 1 or 1.5 hours touring the city's beautiful bay. See the centuries-old city of Perast, and the Our Lady of the Rock Church and museum.

  • Enjoy panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor
  • Explore Our Lady of the Rock Church on the island in the middle of the bay
  • Discover the UNESCO World Heritage site of Perast Old town

See the highlights of Kotor on a private 1 or 1.5-hour cruise. Board a comfortable boat — complete with soft seat cushions and stocked with refreshing cold drinks — for a scenic, panoramic ride along the shoreline of the ancient Bay of Kotor. Stop at the small island in the middle of the bay that is home to Our Lady of the Rocks Church. Legend has it the artificial island was created stone by stone by local fishermen who would lay stones upon a specific rock where shipwrecked crewmen saw her and decided to build a church in tribute. Step inside the interior of this small, 15th-century church to see a great marble altar holding an icon of Our Lady of the Rocks by famous Balkan painter Lovro Dobric. Adorning the walls are various Baroque paintings by well-known Kotor painter Tripo Kokolja - most notable among them being The Crowning of Mary, Mary's Death, and Exaltation of the Holy Mother of God. From here, you will return to the boat for a ride across the waters to the quiet, picturesque town of Perast, a UNESCO World Heritage site that was once a popular vacation spot for Russian czars and Venetian princes. Explore the ancient village filled with 16 Baroque palaces, 17 Catholic churches, and 9 defensive towers. With this informative tour, you will quickly understand how this stunning area became a beacon for artists, fishermen, and visitors alike.
