Njegusi is a village in Cetinje, Montenegro. Located on the slopes of Mount Lovcen, and really close to Lovcen National Park. The village is known for being the birthplace of Petrovic dynasty, which ruled Montenegro from 17th to 20th century, and for Montenegrin office of 'Serdar' and 'Guvernadur' held by Radonjic family.
The village is significant for well - preserved traditional folk architecture. Njeguski sir ( Njegus cheese) and Njeguski prsut (Njegus Prosciutto) have a lot of contributions to Montenegrin cuisine.
