What's On in Montenegro This Autumn

Editorial Mini Break Parties

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."

Although late spring and summer are considered the best seasons for travelling and exploring destinations, here in Montenegro, we would say that period also includes autumn. Because as soon as the summer hustle is over, and the world starts getting back to its default phase, life here continues in a more beautiful and entertaining light.

During the summer, mostly due to high temperatures, you try to refresh yourself on the beaches or somewhere near the sea, places which are generally overcrowded. Or if you’re located somewhere in the northern parts, still you will not be able to get away from the hot mountain weather. In the autumn the only thing that is overcrowded is nature, which can offer you some of the best outdoor and indoor activities. You may want to extend your vacation and enjoy places where you can relax and get the best treatments to rest your body and recharge your batteries... Or you still have the energy for another final tour of the places you’ve always wanted to explore but never had enough time. Still, enough warm and pleasant weather and long sunny days will allow you to do just that.

The already ongoing offer from the Lazure Hotel lasts until the end of September. As they celebrate their 2nd year of officially being in the business, they have prepared a special deal which includes a spa, a beach day and 30% discount on all massages.

From the Perast Conte Hotel, they bring a special September offer consisting of different packages, which include breakfast and a 4-course dinner, a boat excursion to the Our Lady of the Rocks islet, and fresh local mussels and wine tasting.

Another great September offer comes from the Hotel Tre Canne which have prepared a family offer until September 15th. Among other things, the offer is free of charge for children up to 12 years of age, and there’s a 30% discount off the price for the third person.

From Regent Porto Montenegro, as expected they have prepared a month full of interesting offers and events. Every Saturday by the end of September from 08 - 12 pm, indulge in a vegetarian breakfast as a healthy start of your weekend and then continue with the degustation of freshest seafood and vegetables served as sushi. The already known Fruity Weekends available all day during the weekends are part of the autumn offer, and this time, September is the month of lemons. We must not forget also the Watermelon&Proseco offer, every day at the Gourment corner of Regent hotel.

Luštica Bay and The Chedi Lustica Bay hotel provide you with an array of events not to be missed. Weekly Wednesday Movie Nights which have been launched in July, last until mid-October, while on Thursdays, you can enjoy delicious BBQ event at the Marina promenade. Besides, The Chedi Luštica Bay fitness team invites you to participate in the fitness Bootcamp on the beach or you can opt-out for some other watersports activities such as SUP, canoe, waterski etc. as well as yoga, 3 times a week.

If you prefer a romantic weekend getaway, Huma Kotor Bay Hotel & Villas has the right offer for you. A special package available only in September, brings you a two-night accommodation in a deluxe room with an in-room 3-course dinner, followed by a bottle of wine. Huma Hotel and Villas has prepared another set of attractive packages; one at a very favourable price for the warm September days and another more luxurious option to enjoy tailor-made offers in Huma's splendid villas.

Yet, if you are more of an adventurous spirit, you can join the NP Skadar Lake kayaking tour and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this wonder of nature. The tour starts from the town of Virpazar to the old island prison of Grmožur and reaching the finishing point of the small fishing village of Raduš. You can also visit the nearby monasteries Beška and Moračnik. All tours include necessary kayaking equipment and an experienced English/Mne speaking guide.

From other tours, you can also book special and private tours for the must-visit local places. One of those places is for sure the Kotor Bay, which is full of breath-taking locations. You can start from exploring the small medieval town of Perast, and visit its trade sign, Our Lady of the Rocks, which keeps some interesting legends, and myths. After Perast you can go and explore the Blue Cave or the Blue Grotto which is one of the biggest and most beautiful caves located along the coastline of the Boka Bay. The tour can also include panoramic sightseeing of the Herceg Novi Bay, and Tivat Bay. We recommend the booking of Kotor Panorama and Underwater ExperienceBay of Kotor Blue Cave Adventure or Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks special or private tours

Also, you can head to central and northern Montenegro and explore all the hidden beauties and activities these regions have to offer.
