Cross Border Co-working Conference

Press Releases

Almost 200 registered participants for the Cross Border Coworking Conference confirm the quality of the program and the importance of the topics that this conference will bring to the audience.

The Cross Border Coworking Conference is organised by the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis and INTERA Technology Park, through the 2CODE project co-financed by the ERDF and IPA II funds of the European Union.

Local, regional and international experts will exchange experiences and discuss the potential of the region when it comes to attracting digital nomads and developing the coworking scene, during the two-day program. The conference will contribute to the networking of key stakeholders in the region – coworking managers, coworkers, digital nomads, freelancers, representatives of the private and public sector as well as all those who can have an important role in the promotion of Western Balkans as an attractive destination for digital nomads who can become a new target group.

Through interactive panel discussions and interesting presentations of experienced speakers, the conference will contribute to the strengthening of the coworking scene in the region and creating preconditions for exchange of experiences and a joint approach to this extremely relevant topic in all countries of the region.

The Conference will be opened on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021 by Mr Aleksandar Janicic, the project manager of the 2CODE project, Ms Tamara Kojic, who will present the panellists, themes and the program of the Conference, as well as Mr Nevenko Herceg, the Prime Minister of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, who will also address the audience.

The conference program will include discussions on the concept and perspectives of digital nomads who visited regional countries as well as packages for this target group which will be provided by coworking spaces of Code Hub Network in Mostar, NikÅ¡ić, Tuzla and Zadar.

On the 2nd day of the conference, Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, the speakers will discuss the regional coworking scene, consequences of the global pandemic on this sector, challenges the coworking managers have met in the last 18 months as well as advantages of remote work and perspectives of development of new coworking communities.

The day before the conference, on October 4th, a Cocktail party for all participants will be organised as an excellent opportunity for gathering and networking of all participants.
