Description

Experience the breathtaking natural wonders of Lake Skadar with our two-hour guided sightseeing tour. Join us aboard a traditional wooden boat as we navigate narrow channels and savour the delicious local wine while your guide shares fascinating stories from the region. The tour begins in Virpazar, a charming fishing village situated on the shores of Lake Skadar, just a short half-hour drive from Montenegro's capital, Podgorica. Admire the stunning mountain ranges of Albania and Vranjina, the nearest island, as they tower over the lake's crystal-clear waters. Discover Lesendro, the Key of Lake Skadar, a beautiful fortification steeped in history. Glide through meadows of lake grass (water chestnuts) and observe remarkable bird species dry their wings on top of ruins. Marvel at the thousands of large, deep green lotus leaves floating behind the three islets and savour delicious local wine. On the return journey, take your time to enjoy the picturesque views and take a refreshing swim in the fresh, deep-blue waters of Lake Skadar. When the swimming part is finished, we'll return to Virpazar.

• Please note that the parking situation in Virpazar isn't optimal. Parking is free throughout the village; however, for easier parking, please check the instructions on your ticket. The meeting location should be reached at least 30 minutes before your departure time, after you have parked and are ready to start the tour. Please note that this tour is subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. If it is raining or there are strong winds, we may alter the boat used for the tour, reschedule your booking for another day, or provide a full refund.
