Description
Board a traditional wooden boat for a guided tour through the narrow waterways of Lake Skadar. Departing from the fishing village of Virpazar, you will navigate channels bordered by willows and reeds. Your guide will share local stories as you enjoy complimentary local wine and juice.
The tour passes under a small bridge to Lesendro fortress ruins, then continues toward the Morača River, recognized as an International Birding Area. Visit three nearby islands and glide through reed-lined channels dotted with lotus flowers and large floating leaves, where you can spot bird nests and young birds depending on the season.
Before returning to Virpazar, take time for a swim in the pristine waters of the lake.
