The way countries were divided after the separation of Yugoslavia and the famous figures in mutual history. We will proceed to border crossing trough Konavle which is agricultural center of Dubrovnik region. Besides vegetables, it is very popular to grow and make wine here. There are even authentic sorts like Malvasija which has been present since roman ages. You will cross the border and make a short stop to have a coffee break if we have time. Sometimes it is crowded at border so we will continue our trip and then afterwards stop at first place to have a coffee where there is no crowd. We continue to Zelenika where we will board the boat and start our adventure in the perfectly clear mediterranean sea We will go trough village Igalo which is famous for its thermal springs and used to be a healing center of Yugoslavia where marshal Tito spend a lot of time. We are entering area where the signs on the street are written in cyrilics which is the official alphabet in Montenegro and Serbia. From here you will get a first glimps of the Kotor bay Boarding the boat in Zelenika We start the boat tour from here You will board historically significant wodden boat which is iconic for Kotor bay. This boat was built in 1880s and served a lot of different purposes during its lifetime. Boat can fit up to 60 people and all have a place at the table which is important cause we will serve local prosciutto cheese and some fruits followed by white and red wine grown in the wine region of Montenegro, beers, juices or water. All of the products are locally sourced and authentic. Our fist stop by boat will be Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Škrpjela) Where you can explore by yourself and if you want visit the monastery museum (2 eur per pax) You will spend about 30 minutes at the island and then we will continue our scenery drive to Kotor. You will be amazed by the panorama of Montenegro bay, snow on the top of mountains and warm sea in which we sail as a perfect contrast. Green forests by which Montenegro got its name and beautiful coast. Our next stop is City of Kotor, the most important city after which the whole bay got its name. Historic significance as well as all other details will our guide happily explain to you. If you feel like it you can get a hearty meal there. After guided tour you will have some more time to explore the city by yourself.
