This summer, from 8-10th August, the electrifying RUBIX Festival returns to Porto Montenegro, Tivat. The second edition promises a stellar lineup of global stars and a unique platform for local artists to shine in music and film.
The festival kicks off on 8th August with an outdoor theatrical spectacle. Italian actress and model Isabella Rossellini will perform her monodrama 'Darwin’s Smile,' exploring animal behaviours with humour and insight. Opera singer Petra Radulović, a 'Miloš Karadaglić' Foundation scholarship recipient, will perform alongside the 'New Era' string quartet. Berlin-based composer and producer David August will merge classical and electronic music with spectacular light effects for an immersive audio-visual experience.
Day two features the French band Nouvelle Vague and the English electronic band Crazy People Soundsystem, creating the perfect dance atmosphere. Local talent Dolce Hera (Aleksandra Prelević Palladino) will showcase her skills as an author, composer, and playwright. Rock enthusiasts will enjoy performances by Sly the Band and vocalist/rapper Cayenne NoLuck.
The final day focuses on electronic music, starting with a set by local DJ and producer Novak (notsoserious). The festival climax will feature Hernan Cattaneo, known as 'El maestro,' bringing his unmatched skill to the biggest party of the season.
RUBIX 24 will also spotlight a captivating art exhibition, featuring contemporary Montenegrin artists, mesmerising art & technology installations, and an array of engaging workshops and lectures throughout all three days of the festival.
