Eco Village Nevidio

Space
The atmosphere of the village, located at a 1,000m height, is great for winding down of work pressures and hectic city life. Pošćenje is easily accessible from the main road, but all you see and feel is the authentic village atmosphere, with the best of nature around. 

Interaction with guests
Founded in 2009 by Dragan Gašo Lalović, or simply 'Gašo'. Gašo was an alpinist, instructor of mountaineering and he helped save lives as a member of Montenegro´s Mountain Rescue Service GSS. He climbed the highest mountains on the planet. Most notably, leading the first Yugoslavian expedition to Mount Everest in 1996.

Gašo wished to share his love of the outdoors and the beauty of his country with people from all walks of life. He built Eco Selo Nevidio with the hopes of providing a respite to the busy world community, giving them a small piece of heaven, and new perspectives to the local community. He strategically constructed the rustic huts with a view of the serene village of his parents.

An unspoilt village with a lot of stories to tell - living in its own rhythm, and far away from traffic jam and noise. About 15 families live here throughout the year. Nature around is stunning, and depending on the time of year and light, it always looks different. (By the way: If you don´t read Cyrillic, the sign of Pošćenje looks like it says 'Nowhere'...;=).

With public buses, you can get here from the coast in about 3 hours, and the bus lines between Podgorica-Nikšić-Žabljak work several times a day - taking about 2 hours (Podgorica) - 20 minutes to/from Žabljak. You can also get here by car from the Moraca side, turning onto a panoramic road towards Žabljak, from the main road between Podgorica - Kolašin - Bijelo Polje - Belgrade.
