As we slowly follow the paths and the challenges the new technology age has imposed on us, we are increasingly exposed to the influence of the Internet, especially social media, and the effect that their use has on us.
Some experts define this as a certain type of addiction that the internet era has brought.
But most of us, at some point, have been influenced into doing things by other people. It’s just it hasn’t been done online, and it hasn’t been available to such a large number of people.
The psychology of influence revolves around the concept that people can be influenced into doing things, without realising it, as influence is often an unconscious act.
Blogging as a part of online influence has also had an interesting developing history, as people expressed the will to share their life, experiences, and preferences with other people. This business has proved to have positive effects in many realms of life, as nowadays there are many different types of influencers that use social media platforms to engage with their followers, on a wide scale of trends, starting from lifestyle, fitness, skincare and beauty, food, fashion, and more.
The trend of influencers and bloggers has been present in Montenegro for some time. Thanks to a large number of followers, Montenegrin influences have become an advertising channel to a large number of companies and modern advertising that attracts an average user of social networks. Here are some of Montenegro’s most famous influencers and trendsetters.
Family/Lifestyle
Tijana Osmanagić, more popularly known as @crnogorskisanjar /Montenegrin dreamer/ on her social media accounts, describes herself as a child of the spring and the winds. By profession, Tijana is a fashion designer so most of her posts are related to lifestyle, fashion, travel, and family advice.
Olga Mitrović, of Russian descent, moved with her family to Montenegro, where she has been living for years and has a successful career. She started blogging as a hobby, and her posts are about photography, painting, fashion, and cooking and baking, which attract the most attention amongst her followers. She is known as @omitrova.
Milica Plamenac’s Instagram profile is a colourful one where she regularly shares her advice regarding fashion trends and dressing-up, various facial care products but also advice on motherhood and parenthood.

Andrijana Vešović, known regionally under her pseudonym Zombijana Bones, is a visual designer who with its witty illustrations and designs tries to present the characteristics of our Balkan society. Through her posts, Andrijana often deals with topics that others are silent about. She finds her inexhaustible inspiration in abundance of prejudices that prevail in the Balkans, as well as in ”her own experiences of reality.”
Bojana Radonjić or @lady_boka_ describes herself as a life-lover from Boka Kotorska. She is an assistant and dancer at the 'Nikola Djurkovic' Folklore Ensemble from Kotor, and through her Instagram page, Bojana shares her love for folklore dances and Montenegrin cultural heritage. Recently she launched the idea of #izuglafolklorasa hashtag in her posts, to share her unique stories about the experiences of a folklore dancer.
Ana Ljuljđurović, a student of psychology, under the pseudonym @Čedovište, through social media accounts presents her talent and her passion for body painting or body art. Her photos are really specific and can provoke different emotions in everyone who looks at them: anger, tears, a smile, or even fear. Ana has been in this business, which started as a hobby, for 4 years now.

Danilo Kalezić is a travel and marketing professional who works at the Porto Montenegro marina and is a very good model on how to promote the destination.
