Description
Your full-day guided tour will start in Kotor following a panoramic road from which you can see whole of Boka Bay. You’ll make a few stops here for taking photos and admiring the view while your expert guide tells you everything about the places you can see. Next you’ll stop off at Njegusi village, where you’ll visit a local family home and enjoy a sample of some regional products: smoked ham and cheese with homemade wine and brandy. You'll also visit the dryer to see how these products are prepared and learn about the traditional lifestyle of the area. You’ll then continue on through Lovcen National Park, the base of the second highest peak of Lovcen Mountain. After climbing to the top, you’ll visit the mausoleum of Petar II Petrovic Njegos, one of the most important rulers in Montenegrin history. The mausoleum itself is an impressive architectural feat and your guide will tell you all about the importance of the building. Behind the mausoleum is a lookout from where you can see over 60% of Montenegrin territory on a clear day. Next, you’ll continue on to the Old Royal Capital Cetinje, where you’ll have some free time to explore the city at your leisure with some direction from your guide. You'll then come back to the coast and make a final stopover above Sveti Stefan island, the most photographed location on the Montenegrin coast, before traveling back to Kotor.Includes
