Our cycling path meanders alongside the calm waters of the bay, guiding us through villages that brim with character against a backdrop of dramatic, rugged, yet lush mountains. We'll coast by Muo, absorbing the calm of its fishing heritage, and then journey through Prcanj, where maritime legends echo in the unique architecture of stone palaces and churches from various centuries. Upon reaching Stoliv, a village grounded in its farming roots, our adventure escalates with an invigorating uphill hike. On this a 30-minute hike through one of the few surviving chestnut forests in the country, a peaceful sanctuary preserved by the meticulous care of the locals. This trek culminates in Gornji Stoliv with a wholesome tasting experience, where your efforts are rewarded with delicacies which not only nurishe us in the half-time of our adventure, but also contribute to the vitality of this unique village. Once back on the road by the sea, the adventure continues as we cycle toward the riveting view near the inner bay's end, here the proud village of Perast salutes us from across the bay.
