The beginnings of the brewery in Montenegro go all the way to the end of the 19th century, in the year 1896, when Janko Krivokapic, local guy, asked permission from King Nikola to open the first factory for beer production in Niksic. That factory was symbolically named Onogost, which was the old name for the city of Niksic. Due to the difficulties in the independent business, Janko needed to turn his factory into the corporation (joint-stock company), which was developing fast, so they needed to build up a new factory, this time called 'Trebjesa'. Trebjesa, park of nature in the city of Niksic, is the most popular spot for walking, jogging and relaxation. The company kept the name Trebjesa up to nowadays.
The beer form Niksic broke many records with its quality. In 1932, brewery Trebjesa gains international award in Paris, and after this one, the awards were numerous. Today, this brewery in under the one of the biggest world's breweries, Molson Coors, which is an American-Canadian corporation.

They insist on the drivers who are responsible and don't use their products while driving a motor vehicle and they are supporting the restrictions for the minors, under 18.

In the process of the Niksicko Pivo production 4 ingredients are used: water, barley malt, hop and yeast. The process goes into 2 phases - making the wort and making the beer. The wort is produced by mixing the water with the barley malt and then separated by percolation. Then you add hop and cook it for a while. After the cooking process, you add the yeast and the process of the alcohol fermentation can begin. After the fermentation, beer is filtered from the yeast and then it comes up to maturing process at the low temperatures. For crystal clear beer, you make additional filtering, after the maturing process.
