From Dubrovnik: Montenegro Day Trip
4312 ReviewsThe Montenegro coast offers incomparable natural beauty and a great variety of historical places. Discover a whole new culture and landscape, just a quick trip from Dubrovnik.
A short drive from Kotor city centre, or a scenic 3km walk through windy coastal roads and you will eventually stumble across Konoba Lanterna restaurant. Specialising in Mediterranean cuisine, and drawing fresh seafood each day from Kotor bay, this is a stunning location, blessed with great food. The restaurant can become busy, so reserving a table by the waterfront is definitely advisable. An emphasis on seafood including scrumptious prawns, squid, and fried calamari are the specialities, but for non fish lover's lasagne, chips, and salads are a great alternative.
Inside Lanterna restaurant a rustic stone and wooden decoration scheme creates an authentic appearance and a comfortable atmosphere if the weather forces guests to dine inside. The family run business promotes a very personal experience with caring customer service, and advice to pair their fine Montenegrin wine with your dish selection. Many restaurants exploit great scenery with poor quality and expensive food, bad service, and disinterest, but that's certainly not the case here; four diners can expect to pay no more than 50 euros between them.
