Konoba Atrium

Montenegro

Situated close to the south entrance of the Old Town Kotor,  Konoba Atrium is a tavern, a restaurant and a gallery.

The restaurant, uniquely protected as a UNESCO heritage site, was built on the site of St Francisco Monastery which was later burnt down by Napoleon's army. The atmosphere is preserved completely with the columns of the restaurant's terrace dating back to the period of Helen of Anjou.

Today you can relax with the sounds of classical music, jazz and blues while sampling one of fifty kinds of wine which the restaurant serves. And of course, don't forget the excellent cuisine including local specialties, fresh fish, shellfish, oysters, soups, meats as well as their famous desserts.

The capacity of the restaurant is sufficient to organise events such as literature evenings, weddings, parties, business meetings and exhibitions. To top it all the restaurant has received awards for being one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants in the Balkans.
