Galerija restaurant is still exceptionally close to the old town for walking, but seems to avoid the curse of the cruise boat hoards. With the mountains in the background and the water nearby, this is the perfect location for a romantic dinner or to appreciate the natural landscape of the town. As dusk falls, visit Galerija for the 2 for 1 cocktail offer between 18:00 and 20:00 and enjoy the sun setting across the ocean.

The staff are all friendly and attentive in their service and speak excellent English, and they are more than happy to help assist customers in making choices from the menu. The menu is not that extensive but there is great variety in the choice.

Starters include Prust (similar to proscuitto ham) and Bruschetta with fresh tomatoes. Main courses include special fish dishes like the squid, but if you are more of a meat person, there are steaks stuffed with cheese and pork dishes too. Served with side dishes of potatoes, chard and mixed vegetable rice. Save room for the cherry strudel dessert as well. The portions are all generous as well as flavoursome, so take this into consideration when picking.
