Discover Skadar Lake National Park in the most authentic way. Departing from Virpazar, the journey begins through the narrow channels of the River Crmnica, leading into the open waters of the lake at sunrise or sunset. At these moments, the sunlight bathes the lake in golden and orange hues, while the water shimmers, creating a calm and almost magical atmosphere. After passing under the iconic railway bridge of the Belgrade–Bar line, you’ll witness the historic Lesendro fortress, restored in the 18th century by Petar II Petrović Njegoš. The cruise continues along the Morača River, passing the largest island on the lake — Vranjina. Along the way, enjoy views of natural bird habitats, where numerous species can be seen in their natural environment. Navigate through charming, narrow reed-lined canals that lead to vast fields of water lilies and lotus flowers during the warmer months — a truly enchanting sight in the golden and pink light of sunrise or sunset.
