Description
The tour starts with an arranged departure, followed by a drive to Lipa Cave, lasting between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on your accommodation location.
Upon arrival, you will take a tourist train from the parking area to the cave entrance, covering 800 meters in about 20 minutes each way.
A licensed guide will lead a 40-minute tour through the cave passages.
Next, you will drive 10 minutes to Cetinje, the Old Royal Capital, where you will visit:
- Cetinje Monastery
- Ćipuri Church
- Biljarda (former residence of Njegoš)
- King Nikola’s Museum
- Presidential Palace
The sightseeing in Cetinje lasts approximately one hour.
Afterward, you will drive 30 minutes to the village of Njeguši for a food tasting experience at Montenegro’s oldest tavern of this kind, operating since 1881. This stop lasts about one hour.
The tour continues with a 30-minute drive to Lovćen. Here you will visit Njegoš’s Mausoleum, which requires climbing 451 steps to reach the top, allowing approximately one hour for the visit.
An optional lunch at a local restaurant is available.
The tour concludes with the return trip to your pick-up location.
