Description
Start your journey in Tirana, heading to the Sveti Stefan viewpoint in Montenegro, then to Budva, known for its beaches and historic architecture. Continue to Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage site, for your first overnight near the Montenegrin Riviera.
On day two, cross into Albania to visit Shkoder and Rozafa Castle, with views of the lake and rivers flowing into the Adriatic Sea. Learn about the local Venetian mask-making tradition before staying overnight in Shkoder.
Day three includes a visit to one of the Balkans' best slow food agro-tourism farms, where you’ll tour the farm and hear about its impact on the local community. Then continue to Prizren, Kosovo’s cultural capital, for an overnight stay.
Day four takes you to Pristina, Kosovo’s capital, to explore the main boulevard and local cafes. Proceed to Skopje, North Macedonia’s capital, to experience the Old Bazaar. Overnight accommodation is in Ohrid.
On day five, explore Ohrid, one of Europe’s oldest settlements and an important Orthodox center. Travel onward to Berat, known as the town of 1001 windows, walking its narrow stone streets and viewing medieval houses. Return to Tirana after the tour.
