Description
The cruise begins in Virpazar, where you board a traditional wooden boat and navigate a narrow canal leading into Lake Skadar. This tranquil setting offers a chance to relax while the sun casts golden hues across the water.
As you sail, you pass the 1843-built Lesendro Fortress, positioned strategically along the canal and illuminated by the fading sunlight. The fortress adds historical context to the natural landscape.
The boat then circles the Mala and Velika Čakovica Islands, where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning light. There is an opportunity for a refreshing swim in the lake and to observe the sunset from a unique vantage point.
After completing the scenic circuit, the boat returns to Virpazar, concluding the two-hour journey through this distinctive Montenegrin lake environment.
