Imagine hiking the trails through the primeval forest, stepping over the roots of nearly ancient trees, and hopping over streams. Visit a small town in the north, Kolasin, and see stalls in the city center where you can buy local products. Visit the Moraca Monastery, a mystical sacral edifice surrounded, like a medieval fortress, with high stonewalls. Inside, find sleeping quarters that can tell you some legend from this area. According to one legend, this monastery was made of special yellow stone, which is found in the area very far from the place where the monastery actually is. According to this legend, people from this area made a column, which was tens of kilometers long, and in that way turned the stone from hand to hand from the place called Tusine, the place where the stone was located, to the present monastery Moraca. See the spectacular Moraca River Canyon, mostly famous because of one of the most unique and the most interesting roads in the world. Road E65 with countless cliff-side bends and tunnels, this road will amaze you in every way. Along the very edge of this tight canyon, the highway is built to connect Podgorica and Kolasin.
