According to the legend, Our Lady of the Rocks was created after two local brothers found an icon of the Madonna washed up on a rock. Ever since then locals from Perast, have been throwing rocks in to create the island - even today, there's a festival every year called Fasinada, where locals throw rocks into the sea around the island. Our Lady of the Rocks is a Roman Catholic church with a fascinating little museum attached. Enjoy your boat ride with us! Our team will welcome you next to the Museum of Perast at the 'Barbeta Speedboat meeting point'. We give you a ride to the island (and back) where you can enjoy your visit to the church (on you for a fair extra fee). After your visit the skipper will drive you back to the meeting point. The rides take approximately 1 hour (sailing to the island 10 min, your visit 30-40 min, your pictures 10 min and return to Perast 10 min). You can easily agree with your skipper when it's time to come back! Sail quickly Kotor Bay and visit Our Lady of the Rocks.
