Description
Skadar Lake, the largest lake in the Balkan Peninsula, is located between Albania and Montenegro and designated as a National Park since 1983. It is recognized internationally as a wetland of importance under the Ramsar Convention. This day trip from Tivat includes a 3-hour boat ride across the lake to explore its unique fauna, culture, and historical sites.
During the boat trip, you can swim and admire landmarks such as Grmuzur Fortress, Saint Nicola Monastery, Kom Monastery, and Lesendro Fortress. The park is home to around 270 species of birds, making it a notable birdwatching location.
