Description
The tour begins with a drive towards Kolašin along the Morača river canyon, known as Platije, where you can pause for photos of the landscape. Upon arrival in Kolašin, the jeep safari starts from the city center, ascending to ski centers at altitudes of 1450m and 1600m.
There is a short break at ethno village Vranjak, followed by visits to several viewpoints including Zekova glava peak, Pešića lake, Šiško lake, and Bendovac. From Bendovac, you can view Biogradsko lake and nearby mountains from a bird’s eye perspective.
The safari continues to Katun Dolovi Lalevića for lunch featuring traditional homemade dishes. Afterwards, the tour descends to Biogradsko lake for a walk around the area, offering views of unique flora, rainforests, and meadows.
After returning to Kolašin, there is approximately one hour of free time for city sightseeing. The mountain climate, altitude, and clean air provide a refreshing experience.
The drive then proceeds to Morača Monastery, where a 30-minute guided tour explores the site’s history. According to local tradition, the yellow stone used for the monastery was passed hand to hand from the village of Tušina.
The tour concludes with a return to your accommodation.
