Description
We take you on Vrmac peninsula, a natural border between Kotor and Tivat, which highest peak Saint Ilija is at 760m above sea.
This is one of very specific hiking trails, which could be done by anyone, due starting position could be on several different places. Because of that we can adjust this tour from very easy to very difficult, depends what is your interest.
The highest peak is on the top of the plateau, but the majority of road is mostly covered by forest. From all angels you would be able to see breathtaking views on Tivat and Kotor bay. There is also one abandoned Austro-Hungarian fortress on the top of Vrmac hill, which is built in late 19th century.
For those who would like to have easy tour, hiking over Vrmac peninsula is mostly about 3 hours and about 9km long with 250m elevation.
For those who wants to do strong hiking we can extend tour up to 6 hours with 15-20km long and 760m elevation.
This tour could start from Kotor or Tivat and finish also where you want.
