Description

Explore the highlights of the Bay of Kotor on a guided tour. Visit the UNESCO-protected town of Kotor, the sunniest town in the bay, Perast, and the artificial island of Our Lady of the Rock (optional). Begin your tour in Herceg Novi, Kotor or from almost any place of the Boka bay. I will pick you up in front of your hotel. Travel by car to Kotor, a town from the 6th century A.D. under the protection of UNESCO. In front of the old town, I will tell you a short history of it and then you'll enter the Marine gates, the main ones of three gates of Kotor. There are 9 squares of the town, go around and finish the sightseeing here at the largest one, the Square of Arms. Then, go to Perast, the sunniest town in the bay, with two picturesque islands ahead of it. Perast was a simple fishermen's village from the 13th century, which has flourished at the end of the 17th century, thanks to the maritime trade. After delicious lunch in the local restaurant (optional), visit one of two islands, the artificially made Our Lady of the Rock (optional, approx. 10€ return boat ticket) On the island I will tell you the story about it and the love story which became a legend. In the church's museum (optional, 2€ ticket), where I'll be your guide, see some masterpieces of the culture of the local community, including a famous embroidery from the 19th century. Return to the mainland and go back to Herceg Novi.

• This is a private tour with a maximum of 4 guests. The tour runs in a modern, 2025 Toyota Corolla hybrid sedan, with a premium comfort, but it is not a luxury vehicle. The boat ride to the island and museum entrance are optional and not included in the tour price. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Pickup is available from the large area of the bay of Topla and the bay of Kotor, shown on the map.
