Mimosa Festival 2022

Sunny winter at sea and Mimosa Festival invite you to Herceg Novi, where the 53rd Mimosa Festival is held from February 18 - March 5. Mimosa-coloured days with numerous masquerades, festivities, literary evenings, concerts, exhibitions, and sporting events await you in the next 20 days.

The grand opening is scheduled for February 18^th, when Neda Ukraden will perform at Nikola Đurković Square, and Dejan Petrović and the Big Band will perform at the closing, which has been announced for March 5^th . Traditionally, Herceg Novi City Music and Majorettes, Đenović Local Music and Trombonieri will take part in both events.

The rich program of the 53rd Mimosa Festival includes events that will begin on February 3 with the opening of the Herceg Novi Winter Salon in the 'Josip Bepo Benković' gallery. In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies with concerts, other events that are expected to be held are: the traditional Mimosa Harvest on the Riviera; masquerades for adults and children; Fish Dinner, the famous games Picigin and Karotrc; Flower Exhibition; presentation of friendly cities Novo Mesto, St. Petersburg and Belgrade; Wine Fair; music gastronomic Open Street in Igalo; five plays; two exhibitions; a concert by the Music School; five literary evenings and 14 sports programs. This year, due to the epidemiological situation, the traditional Mimosa Caravan will be absent. 

The organizers of the 53^rd Mimosa Festival are the Municipality of Herceg Novi, the Public Institution of Culture 'Herceg Fest' and the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi. This year's sponsors are the breweries 'Trebjesa' and 'Plantaže 13. jul'.
