Tavern Ribar

In the middle of the Boka Bay, in the small place called Kostanjica, 3 km from Kamenari (ferry boat station), stands an authentic coastal tavern. 

Tucked in the greenery and scent of the Mediterranean sea and plants, in the amazing surrounding of the bay, this restaurant offers the best that nature can offer. The tavern can be reach by the road or sea. If coming by  car, there is a parking lot for you, but if you prefer by boat, then don't worry - this place has easy access to berths at the dock. 

The kitchen of the restaurant is based on the coastal, traditional cuisine from Boka Bay. The menu contains Mediterranean cuisine specialties based on the fresh daily catch from the sea, caught by tavern's fishermen team.

The menu is flexible, so there are always some specials, but it is all about original coastal cuisine, with simplicity in preparation, which is extremely rare these days. Preparing this kind of food requires a lot of knowledge and plenty of Mediterranean spices - fresh herbs and extra virgin olive oil. It's up to you - first class fish, mussels, prawns, calamari, all kinds of risotto - just pick your favourite!

The tavern itself is constructed in a rustic style and there is a small museum with antiques from the sea and the coast. The restaurant has an aquarium with sea water, fish and lobsters. Inside the tavern there is a separate wine cellar, with one dining table, a real nook for intimate gatherings and hedonistic pleasures. Wines in the cellar are from all over the world with guests able to choose from over 150 labels.

The incredible view from the tavern over the Boka Bay and Verige (the narrowest part of the bay and an entrance to it) entices you to stay in this tavern for hours.
