Depart from the fishing village of Virpazar and navigate the narrow channels of the Crmnica River before reaching the vast waters of Skadar Lake. Enjoy panoramic views stretching towards Albania and the surrounding mountains.
Pass beneath the Belgrade-Bar railway bridge and admire Lesendro Fortress, a key historical landmark reinforced by Petar II Petrović Njegoš during Montenegro’s defense. The fortress's history includes Ottoman capture in 1843 and became the inspiration for a Montenegrin saying about longing.
