Description
Purple Eye Estate Camp & Winery spans over 50,000 m² of natural landscape, located 10 km from Podgorica beside Matica Creek and Purple Eye Lake. The estate offers a tranquil environment with vineyards, birdsong, and peaceful surroundings.
Visitors, including wine enthusiasts, RV campers, bikers, and travelers, often compare it to 'a little Tuscany in Montenegro' due to its warm atmosphere of vines, sunlight, and genuine hospitality. The estate earned the Montenegro Quality Award in 2025 for its guided wine tours paired with local gastronomy.
The estate has been run by the Sekulić family for four generations, producing wines from 2,300 plantations of indigenous grape varieties Vranac and Kratošija. The wines are made using traditional, hand-picked methods that respect the harvest’s natural character.
The tasting experience features a guided presentation of estate-made wines, homemade rakija (grappa), local honey, and snacks including homemade olives, salami, and cheeses. Guests can also enjoy walking in the vineyard and surrounding natural areas.
