Description
This tour begins at the Roman ruins of Doclea, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Podgorica from Trijebac hill. Next, visit the Temple of Christ's Resurrection, one of the largest and most significant modern churches in the region. Then explore the Dajbabe Monastery, built inside a small cave and a natural wonder.
Take a coffee break near the old dam known as Niagara Falls on the Cijevna canyon, which now hosts a local restaurant. Afterwards, visit Plantaze winery, one of Europe's largest vineyards, for wine tasting inside the Sipcanik tunnel, an abandoned military air base beneath the hill.
The final stop is Podgorica's Old Town, featuring the ruins of Nemanjic city, the Clock Tower, the Old Bridge Skaline, and the monument of King Nikola Petrovic. The tour combines rich historical insights with scenic views.
