Description
This private tour starts with a transfer by car, minivan, van or bus to the Podgorica train station. The drive takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your accommodation location.
You will then take a 1.5-hour scenic train ride from Podgorica to Kolašin, traveling high above northern Montenegro. The route passes through cliffs overlooking the Morača River and Platije Canyon, including crossing the Mala Rijeka Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in Europe (498 meters long and 200 meters high).
After arrival in Kolašin, there is a 30-minute drive to National Park Biogradska Gora. You will spend about one hour touring the park and walking around Biogradsko Lake.
Next, you will return to Kolašin’s city center for a city tour and free time for a walk or optional lunch featuring traditional Montenegrin dishes, lasting approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
Following this, the group will drive about 40 minutes to Morača Monastery for a 30-minute visit to experience its historic and modest ambiance.
The tour concludes with a return transfer to your accommodation city.
