The trip starts from Kotor, with a 20-minute boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks, a man-made islet featuring a church and museum. According to legend, local seamen began creating the islet after finding an icon of Madonna and the Child on a rock in the sea on July 22, 1452. The islet took 100 years to build, with the church completed over the following century. Our Lady of the Rocks serves as a protector for all seamen in Boka Bay.
The next stop is Perast, an old town near the islet. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers Baroque architecture, historic palaces, Catholic churches, and defensive towers. Visitors can immerse themselves in its ancient atmosphere during a 40-minute stay. There is time to explore Perast’s streets or enjoy a meal at a local restaurant before returning to Kotor by car.
