This full-day tour explores Montenegro’s coast, Lake Skadar, Lake Biograd, Moraca Canyon, and Moraca Monastery, ideal for nature and culture enthusiasts.

Description

Discover Montenegro’s diverse landscapes and history on a guided tour combining scenic drives, local cuisine, and cultural landmarks. Start with a coastal drive to Sveti Stefan island, a former fishing village turned luxury resort, offering excellent photo opportunities.

Next, stop at Pastrovacke Strane viewpoint to capture views of Montenegro’s coastline, where the sea meets the hills. Then arrive at Lake Skadar for a local breakfast (not included) overlooking the lake’s tributary.

Enjoy a two-hour boat ride across Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans. Pass lush islets, old fortresses, and quiet coves. In summer, bring swimwear for a possible swim in clear waters.

Afterward, travel along Princess Ksenija Highway to Lake Biograd, located within Biogradska Gora National Park. Walk along the lake shore surrounded by ancient forest and fresh mountain air. Lunch (not included) is available at a nearby Tara river restaurant featuring traditional Montenegrin dishes.

On the return, drive through Moraca Canyon, where dramatic cliffs and river views impress. End at the 13th-century Moraca Monastery to explore its frescoes and rich history in a peaceful setting.
