Description
This full-day tour begins with a transfer from your accommodation to Kotor, a historic town with medieval architecture.
In Kotor, you will visit Armory Square and its 400-year-old clock tower, Flour Square with Buca and Pima Palaces, and enjoy views of the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon built in 1166. You will also walk to the Orthodox churches square, featuring St. Luke (1195) and St. Nicholas (1540), as well as Cat Squares and other landmarks. The visit lasts approximately one hour.
Next, you will take a 20-minute scenic drive around Boka Bay to Perast. Here you will explore the town before taking a boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks island to visit the 15th-century church and museum. Total time spent in Perast and on the island is about one hour.
Returning to Kotor, you will join a local family kitchen for a three-hour cooking class led by Susan. During the class, you will prepare one or two traditional dishes from the Bay of Kotor region, mainly based on fish and seafood. The session includes wine, rakija brandy, or homemade juice tastings.
The experience concludes with a shared lunch of starter, main course, and dessert, followed by a return transfer to your accommodation.
