Description

Set off from Virpazar and travel to Rijeka Crnojevića, a historic town on the banks of the river of the same name near Lake Skadar. Discover the old stone Danilov Bridge, built in 1855 in honor of Prince Stanko Petrović, and learn about the rich history of the Crnojević dynasty. Visit the Rim and Cave, where Ivan Crnojević built a fortification and where the first South Slavic Cyrillic printing press (Obodska štamprija) operated. Then, head to Pavlova Strana, a famous viewpoint offering stunning views of the river's curved course. Enjoy a 1-hour lunch break in Rijeka Crnojevića (lunch not included), before heading back to Virpazar. On the way back, stop for a refreshing swim in the open lake.
