Description
Your guide picks you up from your accommodation and begins the journey north. After approximately two hours, there is a short break for coffee and snacks.
The drive continues for another two hours to Komani Lake. You will walk through a 7-minute tunnel to reach the boat boarding area, where your captain and guide will welcome you on board.
Enjoy a one-hour boat ride along Komani Lake’s mountain scenery until you reach the Shala River. Here, you have free time to swim, relax, or explore the area. Options include dining at local restaurants, having drinks at bars, swimming in the river, or renting kayaks. An optional short hike is also available for those who wish to explore further.
After your visit, meet your guide at the same location to take the boat back, then continue by bus with a stop en route before returning to Durres. Note that restaurant food preparation can occasionally take longer, so plan accordingly and allow time to relax while waiting.
