Description
In winter the Budva Riviera offers clear air, calm seas, and no boat traffic, making it ideal for a sea kayaking mini-expedition. The route starts at Slovenska Plaža, paddling past Budva’s Old Town walls and along the coastline to various caves. Depending on sea conditions, you may pass through Pigeon Cave and other low sea passages, staying close to cliffs and coves.
The second part of the trip focuses on St Nicholas Island. You will land near a small medieval chapel, take a short snack break, and hear local legends about the site. The route continues along the rocky shore under the Lovers’ Arch and around the lighthouse at the island’s tip, before returning to Budva.
