Christmas and New Year Bazaars & Events in Montenegro

Seasonal Celebrations

Celebrating Christmas and the end of 2023

Christmas and New Year are just around the corner, and the traditional setup and decoration of the cities and organisation of Christmas Bazaars, have started already. Montenegro, just like the rest of Europe, is following this trend. Thanks to the small, local Christmas markets, which gained popularity in recent years, Montenegro has been described as an emerging Christmas market.

The Tourist Organization of Bar, under the patronage of the Municipality of Bar, is organizing this year's New Year's Happening, which will start on December 27, 2023, and last for 7 days, until January 2, 2024. Throughout the 7-day program, all local bands will perform, along with renowned music stars from Montenegro and the region, while various daytime activities will be held for the youngest attendees.
What we particularly want to highlight is that throughout all 7 days of the program, daytime activities for children will be organized, including children's plays, a children's choir, concerts, creative workshops, mascots, animators, and many others.
There is also an ongoing Public Call for the distribution of 13 booths that TO Bar are providing for use, where food and beverages will be served. More info on that soon.

The Tourist Organization of Kolašin has prepared a Christmas bazaar for this year too.
The opening of the Christmas bazaar is scheduled for December 15th. At the bazaar, all visitors will be able to enjoy warm drinks, a Christmas atmosphere, a diverse range of souvenirs and homemade products.
