The Ethnographic Museum of Montenegro
The Ethnographic Museum of Montenegro was founded in 1951, and with over 4400 items, attests to the rich material and spiritual culture of Montenegro and its people. This museum was originally located in the Biljarda building with two other museums, the Njegoš Museum and the Museum of the National Liberation War (NOB) until the earthquake in 1979, after which it was transferred to the former Serbian embassy house.
During its existence, the Ethnographic Museum has organised numerous thematic exhibitions in the country and abroad, through which the rich traditional heritage of Montenegro was displayed. The items of the museum are classified in several separate collections, on the ground floor and first floor:

- weapons;
- jewellery;
- furniture and utensils;
- business items;
- textile items and used textiles;
- handbags;
- toy collections;
- musical instruments;
- tobacco items;
- art collection and
- collection of items related to beliefs and customs.
These items best show the richness of the material and spiritual culture of the peoples, as well as the way of doing business, food, housing, textiles, clothing, weapons, musical instruments, etc. Opening hours are 9 am to 5 pm, and the ticket prices are 2 euros for adults, respectively 1 euro for children.
