Description
The tour begins with a visit to Zabljak Crnojevica, an abandoned castle of the Montenegrin ruling Crnojevic family. Next, you will explore the Bisevina savanna to see wild horses in their natural habitat. The journey continues to the village of Virpazar and Besac Fort, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Skadar Lake while having coffee inside the fort.
You will then travel along the scenic Skadar Lake road with a stop at Macalov brijeg viewpoint for photos. After that, a visit to River Crnojevica village follows. This is one of Montenegro’s oldest settlements featuring an old bridge, traditional restaurants, and cultural heritage sites. A short walk in the village leads to Pavlova viewpoint, providing some of the best panoramic views in the country.
The final part of the tour includes a wine tasting at the small private Mrkan Winery, known for its organic production. The day ends at the village of Karuc, offering peaceful views and quiet moments by Skadar Lake.
