Description
Experience Montenegro’s coast by boat, avoiding traffic and heat while enjoying natural beauty. After arrival or pickup, your guide will escort you to the boat where the skipper will lead your tour.
Your first stop is the artificial island 'Lady of the Rocks' in Boka Bay near Perast. The church there, built in 1630 by fishermen who found an icon of the Holy Mother of God with Christ on a sea rock, is dedicated to protecting sailors and fishermen. The church contains over 2,000 silver plaques offered by local sailors, and an embroidery created over 25 years by a woman named Jacinta Kunic using her own hair. You will have 20 minutes to explore and photograph the island.
The next stop is a photo pause at the former Yugoslavian submarine base, once a secret military site now open to visitors.
Then, view the former prison island 'Mamula' at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor between Herceg Novi and Luštica. The 19th-century Austro-Hungarian fortress was used as a prison in both World Wars, typically holding inmates who could not swim to prevent escape.
The final stop is the Blue Cave, a natural cave with a 9-meter-high ceiling above sea level. Sunlight creates shifting blue hues inside the cave. You will have 30 minutes to swim, take photos, or relax here.
