As part of the 16th Guitar Art Summer Fest, the living legend of the world guitar Tommy Emmanuel will perform on August 15th at Kanli Kula. This will be an opportunity for the Montenegrin audience to hear for the first time some of the tracks from his current album with which he is on a world tour.
The biggest rock and roll magazine 'Rolling Stone' declared Emmanuel the best guitarist in 1990, while the readers of the biggest media authority for guitarists 'Guitar Player' chose him as the best acoustic guitarist of all time. Emmanuel himself says he is the proudest of the 'Certified Guitar Player' recognition, which is besides him won only by three other world guitarists, and which was personally chosen by Chet Atkins, Tommy's greatest role model and legendary guitar master. The Australian guitar magus collaborated with numerous musicians, including Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani, Stevie Wonder and the legendary Les Paul, who, just before the end of his life, prophetically said that Emmanuel 'has all the qualifications to be great'.
Tickets are on sale online, as well as at the Kanli Tower and Dvorana Park ticket offices at a single price of 35 euros.
