On the small scene of the Atrium Buća, the theater performance 'O Miševima i Ljudima' will be performed, in the production of the Bar's Chronicle and the City Theatre from Podgorica.
Steinbeck's piece placed in the thirties of the last century, during the Great Depression of America. His characters belong to a disadvantaged working class and represent the images of poverty and the difficult life of the lowest class of people. The main heroes, George and Leni, are two friends who are working hard at the farms, trying to find their piece of land, home, a sign of their own freedom. In addition to social justice, this is also a story of friendship, dreams, illusions as a necessity of survival in a harsh environment that marginalizes different, old, sick, and people with disabilities; about escaping into utopia as the only place where we can be happy.
